The city has decided that our house is livable and has given us our certificate of occupancy. Funny thing is that we still have SO much left to do. Landscaping, paint touch ups, and oh yeah that little chore known as MOVING. Luckily we've been living next door so maybe that will make things easier. Bottom line is we are excited to at least be able to live in the house on a very basic level if need be. And its also nice to finally have the bank off our back. Almost. They had a few small things they wanted to see done before they were satisfied, so we spent most of last weekend finishing those things up. Paperwork has been signed at the bank, appraisal has been ordered, and fingers have all been crossed. We should be closing hopefully in a month if things go smoothly with the financing. In the meantime, its time to get our junk moved - or get rid of it. I have a feeling most of it will find its way either to the dumpster or to Goodwill.
Art originates from life, but higher than life!
